Weapons in Mafia III consist of over 40 weapons plus explosives that may be either purchased through the Arms Dealer, retrieved from dead enemies, or found at various other locations within the game. Most weapons are unlocked and available once the Arms Dealer perk is obtained through Lincoln's first underboss, Cassandra, with the exception of a few that can be received as favors from underbosses or after taking control of a district. There are 10 weapon related achievements in Mafia III and its three DLCs.
Base Mafia III Game[]
- The Recruited to 5th SFG achievement requires the player to perform 5 headshots in 5 seconds.
- The Never Saw it Coming achievement requires the player to kill an enemy within 2 seconds of kicking open a door.
- The Flambé achievement requires the player to make 10 enemies kill themselves with their own Molotovs.
Faster, Baby![]
- The Danger Close achievement requires the player to kill 30 enemies using Proximity Mines.
- The Trap Game Strong achievement requires the player to trigger 10 Vehicle Traps by shooting them from their car.
Stones Unturned[]
- The Operation: Deep Sleep achievement requires the player to knock out 30 people with the Dormer B128 Dart Gun.
- The Big Fat Party Animal achievement requires the player to kill 50 enemies using the Hartmann 7.62mm while wearing the Party Animal outfit.
- The Spotter achievement requires the player to kill 30 enemies using Sniper Support.

- The Pop, Pop achievement requires the player to kill 4 enemies using Slow-Mo Shooting 10 Times.
