The Sniper Rifle is a weapon in Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Specifications[]
The weapon holds 5 rounds, and the player can carry an additional 10, for a total of 15 rounds. It occupies the two-handed weapons slot in the weapons wheel.
Availability[]
The weapon is not available from Vincenzo's Armory and is only used during Election Campaign and the side mission "Dock Block". In both missions, it is removed from the player's personal inventory immediately after use. However, it sometimes appears in the hands of enemy marksmen and can be taken off of their corpses during later missions.
Real World[]
The Sniper Rifle is based on a scoped Springfield M1903A1, replacing the Mosin-Nagant rifle used in the original Mafia.
