The Printery is a location in Mafia II.
History[]
Mafia II[]
The Printery is a building located north of the South Millville Industrial Estate in South Millville. The interior is added by Joe's Adventures and can only be accessed through game modification. The cut Forklift was intended to be used in this building.
Mafia II: DE[]

Cut forklift that would have been used here.
In the Mafia II: Definitive Edition, the Printery is now accessible in Joe's Adventures. The location opens up immediately after finishing both Connection and Supermarket, and closes again once the next mission is started. The entrance to the building is behind a chain link gate that can't be opened, but can be passed through on foot or in a vehicle. The open doorway will not be visible until on the other side of this gate. The interior of the location is vast and while mostly finished, some sections remain incomplete or inaccessible.
It's unknown what the location would have been used for, but there are many items of interest to be seen. There are stacks of untextured boxes that glow bright green that would have likely been involved in some way, and further towards the back of the complex there is a room that appears to have been destroyed and contains four compressed gas cylinders that may have been used to cause the destruction. Beyond that room is an unfinished stairway that leads to a large office space which appears to be a newsroom or office of some sort. This area is inaccessible without game modification.

Printing of the Bay Herald
On a more puzzling note, it appears that a copy of the Bay Herald is being printed here, with a headline that reads "Dewey Smashes Spain's Fleet: Great National Battle Between Asiatic Squadron and Spanish Warships off Manila" This headline appears to be referencing the 1898 Battle of Manila Bay from the Spanish–American War.
The building also includes multiple stacks of flyers for Old Empirical Beer, as well as some for Swift Cola and the Empire Electronics 35 Series television set.
