The Pocket Revolver is a weapon in Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Specifications[]
The weapon holds 6 rounds, and the player can carry an additional 30, for a total of 36 rounds. It occupies the one-handed weapons slot in the weapons wheel.
Availability[]
The weapon is first used in Ordinary Routine and it becomes available in Vincenzo's Armory from the beginning of Better Get Used to It onward. In Free Ride, it is available from the start.
Appearances[]
- The Pocket Revolver is the first weapon carried by Tommy Angelo. He keeps an empty one in his vehicle while working as a cab driver and briefly uses it to intimidate a passenger who waffles on paying the full fare during Running Man. He then loses it when his cab is trashed by Lou before getting a replacement from Vincenzo at the start of Ordinary Routine.
- Other characters who use the Pocket Revolver include Paulie, Frank, Vincenzo, and Lou. Hoodlums, gangsters, police detectives, federal agents, bodyguards, security personnel, and drivers often carry it for personal protection.
- William Gates pulls out a snub nose pistol after getting wounded during Great Deal. It is uncertain if the weapon is a Pocket Revolver.
- A tape-wrapped Pocket Revolver is planted on the Lost Heaven Queen for Tommy to use in Roberto Ghillotti's assassination during Happy Birthday. This is meant to reference the death of Virgil "The Turk" Sollozzo in The Godfather.
Real World[]
The Pocket Revolver is based on the snub nose variant of the Smith & Wesson Model 10, replacing the Colt Detective Special used in the original Mafia.
