Narrative[]

April 3rd, 1933

About two months after the botched booze deal, Tommy meets Don Salieri at the park, where Salieri reveals that the family has a mole. Tommy quickly catches up to Salieri's thoughts and realizes that Frank is the mole as Salieri had gone to check the books only to find it missing, along with Frank and his family. Salieri, knowing that the crime family will be finished if Frank hands the books to the FBI, tasks Tommy with finding Frank and the books before eliminating the traitor.

Tommy manages to catch up to Frank at the Lost Heaven Airport and reaches the hangar before Frank could board the plane at gunpoint. Frank ushers his family out and tells Tommy that Morello had come after him, promising to spare him and get him out of Lost Heaven if he gave the books to him. When Tommy asks him why he didn't tell the others, Frank in turn replies that he was tired of the criminal lifestyle. Frank also informs him that the books are kept at the Grand Imperial Bank and gives him the key to the vault. Expecting his death, Frank becomes surprised when Tommy decides to spare him and nods his head in approval once he gets on the plane.

With the key at hand, Tommy heads to the bank and reclaims the missing books, covering his tracks. Frank's home is burned and a funeral is hosted. Morello's group comes in to pay their respects to Frank.

Trivia[]

  • The mission's title is a reference on the Mafia's code of silence.
  • There is a hangar 13 within Lost Heaven Airport, a reference to the game's developer.
  • Little Tony refers to Frank's safehouse being located in Oak Hill rather than Oakwood. Oak Hill is the name of Beech Hill in the original game.
  • Even though this mission can be completed without a single kill, news reports will still refer to it as the "Airport Massacre" in later parts of the game.
  • A news report about the search for the USS Akron airship after it went down off the New Jersey coast on 4 April, 1933 airs on the radio during the drive to Biff's Pawn Shop. This is an historical error, as the mission is set on 3 April.
  • Tommy cannot enter in Salieri's Bar after the mission's start outside the bar, the player will not have access to weapons, vehicles and change clothes during the mission while the bar is closed.
