The Midtown Construction Site is a location in Mafia II.
History[]
It is a large building currently under construction in Midtown, close to the Empire Arms Hotel. Demolition on the previous brick structure started in the mid 1940s to make room for the new high-rise, and by 1951 eleven floors are currently under construction. The building is currently owned by Frank Vinci, whose construction company is involved in its development.[1]
In Stairway to Heaven, Vito and Joe are tortured by Vinci's thugs on the top floor. In the Supermarket mission in Joe's Adventures, Joe is brought here and introduced to Rocco, who is torturing an unknown man for information. Later in Cathouse, Rocco comes here with his men after he attempts to kill Carlo Falcone at the Garden of Eden.
