Gunsmith is a perk in Mafia III.
Perk Information[]
The Gunsmith perk is given by Cassandra as Lincoln assigns her rackets and raises her earn. It's operated by her associate Clifton Jean-Baptiste, who works as a gunsmith that will improve Lincoln's weapons with various modifications and upgrades.
Levels[]
The first level gives Lincoln an improved weapons accuracy upgrade.
- This will be given when Cassandra's earn is raised to $60,000.
The second level gives Lincoln an increased ammo capacity upgrade.
- This will be given when Cassandra's earn is raised to $140,000.
The third level gives Lincoln am improved weapons stability upgrade.
- This will be given when Cassandra's earn is raised to $220,000.
The fourth level gives Lincoln faster weapons reloading.
- This will be given when Cassandra's earn is raised to $370,000.
Weapon Improvements[]
Accuracy upgrade[]
Level one of this perk is free of charge and will raise the accuracy of all handguns, automatics and rifles by an unspecified percentage. Two additional levels of upgrade will then be offered for sale through the Arms Dealer.
- Level two will raise the accuracy of handguns, automatics and rifles by 39%, at a cost of $5,000 per weapon type.
- Level three will raise the accuracy of handguns, automatics and rifles by 60%, at a cost of $18,000 per weapon type.
- Increased accuracy is achieved by fine tuning all weapons sights.
Ammo Upgrade[]
Level one of this perk is free of charge and will raise the ammo carry capacity of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 20%. Two additional levels of upgrade will then be offered for sale through the Arms Dealer.
- Level two will raise the ammo carry capacity of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 40%, at a cost of $10,000 per weapon type.
- Level three will raise the ammo carry capacity of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 60%, at a cost of $18,000 per weapon type.
- This perk only effects the additional ammo carry capacity and the percentage is based on the weapons initial base capacity.
Stability Upgrade[]
Level one of this perk is free of charge and will raise the stability of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 15%. Two additional levels of upgrade will then be offered for sale through the Arms Dealer.
- Level two will raise the stability of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 30%, at a cost of $10,000 per weapon type.
- Level three will raise the stability of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 45%, at a cost of $18,000 per weapon type.
- Increased stability is achieved by reducing the amount of recoil the weapon generates when fired.
Reload Speed[]
Level one of this perk is free of charge and will reduce the time it takes Lincoln to reload all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 10%. Two additional levels of upgrade will then be offered for sale through the Arms Dealer.
- Level two reduce the reloading time of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 20%, at a cost of $10,000 per weapon type.
- Level three reduce the reloading time of all shotguns, handguns, automatics and rifles by 30%, at a cost of $18,000 per weapon type.

- The total cost of all weapon upgrades will cost Lincoln a staggering $405,000.
Notes[]
- Scoped rifles show no change after purchasing any level of the stability upgrade. Affected weapons include the Camo Model 67, Manitou Model 67, Mayweather M04A3, Viper 55 and the Hawk 4540 Night Vision.
