The Grenade Mk II is a weapon in Mafia II.

Description[]

The Mk II was the standard issue anti-personnel grenade used during World War II. After the war ended surpluses found their way to Empire Bay and into the hands of mobsters and street gangs alike.

Specifications[]

The Grenade Mk II is a single use thrown weapon. The player can carry a total of 6 and it occupies a slot in the left side of the weapons HUD along with other thrown weapons. It is a surprisingly lethal weapon that can easily wipe out multiple enemies with each one. It can also be used to destroy and blow up more vehicles causing more destruction.

Base Game[]

They're first used in Chapter 1, when Vito throws one through the window of the San Celeste Town Hall while his squad is overtaking it.
They can be found in The Wild Ones, where some will be available near the end of the Empire Bay Forge.
They become available to purchase at Harry's Gun Shop in Room Service.
Some can be picked up in a room near the basement exit of The Red Dragon restaurant in Exit the Dragon.
Some can be picked up inside the Midtown Construction Site in Stairway to Heaven.
Three can be found inside the first room you enter at the Zavesky Observatory.

DLCs[]

In The Betrayal of Jimmy, Jimmy's Vendetta, and Joe's Adventures, they're available for purchase at Harry's Gun Shop from the beginning.
Some can be picked up inside the warehouse in the Joe's Adventures mission Connection.
In Joe's Adventures some can be picked up inside the Midtown Construction Site in Cathouse.
