Newspapers are miscellaneous items in the Mafia Series.
Overview[]
Newspapers can be found in all the Mafia games where various NPCs can be seen reading them. They're also sold at newsstands and by street vendors loudly shouting the headlines of the day. While NPCs can be seen buying newspapers, they are not available to the player in Mafia or Mafia II.

Lost Heaven is served by three different broadsheet newspapers.

Empire Bay is served by five different broadsheet newspapers. There's also a number of unnamed tabloids.

Newspaper criers can be seen throughout Empire Bay, often shouting headlines of recent game events.

Mafia III[]

Newspapers are more prominent in Mafia III. The New Bordeaux Tribune has been featured in pre-release teasers through Mafia Game's official Facebook and Twitter accounts, showing readable articles covering current events in New Bordeaux.
Mafia: Definitive Edition[]
Newspapers in Mafia: Definitive Edition are more prominent than they were in Mafia, and can be accessed as other notes in the game. Newspaper criers can be seen around the city, often announcing the latest headlines.

- Newspapers can be seen in cutscenes after the missions Happy Birthday!, Election Campaign, as well as in the Epilogue. In the opening cutscene of Election Campaign Don Salieri can be seen reading one.
Mafia II[]
- You can view the various papers by standing in front of a newspaper stand, but aside from the newspaper names no other text is legible.
