Explosive Situation is a mission in the Free Ride game mode of Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Overview[]
This mission becomes available after completing Crème de la Crème. Begin this mission by reading the note on the table in the upstairs hallway in Salieri's Bar, then drive to the phone booth east of Pepe's Restaurant.

Narrative[]
I planted some bombs on a few cars this morning. Turns out it was all just a silly misunderstanding. Could you dump those cars in the water before they explode please?
Walkthrough[]
You need to get the three cars and drive them onto the East River before the timer runs out. Barring glitches or exploits, there's only three places where this can be done - two ramps that only appear while the mission is active, and one passageway leading down to the docks. See the map below for locations and approaches. Additionally, you may use the stairs next to Giorgi's Diner.
Hard and Classic Difficulty[]
- Bring along your fastest car and do the Oakwood location first. This location is the furthest away, and after you dump the first car you will have to grab vehicles off the street.
- Use one of the two wooden ramps. As you approach, press and hold the exit car button. If timed right you will land on the street where you can quickly grab another vehicle, saving valuable time.
