Dino is a character in Mafia: Definitive Edition.
History[]
As a soldato of Morello family, Dino is relentlessly loyal to Don Morello and his brother Sergio, working as a bodyguard, enforcer, and manager for several of their criminal rackets.
In 1930, he and his crew set up Sam Trapani and Paulie Lombardo of the rival Salieri family during one of their business deals in Central Island, resulting in the two being forced to carjack a cab driver named Tommy Angelo in a desperate bid to escape from Dino's gunmen. Tommy's skillful driving gets Sam and Paulie out of danger, but in the process, one of the crew memorizes his license plate.
The next day, while taking a coffee break, Dino, accompanied by a leg breaker named Lou, jumps Tommy and beats him while Lou smashes his taxi with a baseball bat. Before Lou could cave Tommy's face in, he manages to get himself free and make a run for it. Dino, armed with a Semi-Auto Pistol, ran after him while wildly firing off shots, scattering the people in Tommy's way.
Tommy eventually makes it to Salieri's Bar, where Sam and Paulie intervene to protect him from Dino and Lou. When Dino refuses to leave, Paulie points a shotgun at him and he finally gives up, retreating with his friend back to North Park.
In a meeting with Don Salieri, Tommy requests a chance for revenge on Dino. The Don orders Paulie to take him to Morello's Lounge Bar, a popular restaurant where Dino's crew hangs out and runs most of their "action". In the parking lot next door, Tommy smashes and torches the crew's parked cars, successfully beats up two men who come by to investigate the disturbance, and finally steals Dino's shiny new ride with Paulie's help.
A furious Dino comes running outside with his gun, but it's too late and, despite the cops putting out a bulletin for Tommy and Paulie, the duo gets back to Salieri's Bar with the stolen ride and give it to Ralph for "redecorating". Dino's only other appearance in the story occurs after the "death" of Frank Colletti, where he, Lou, and other members of Morello's gang accompany him and Sergio to Frank's funeral in black suits. Dino's fate afterwards is unknown.
