Clark's Motel is a location in Mafia: Definitive Edition.
History[]
The motel is located in rural North County. Owned by a proprietor named Bill, it is primarily controlled by the Salieri family, who nominally use it to host illegal dice and card games and stash smuggled goods. The motel is also a key stopping point for illicit cargoes of rum and whiskey entering the state from Cuba and Canada, and as a means of keeping the peace between Lost Heaven's gangs, the Salieri family lets everyone, including the Morello family, use the motel to collect their shipments.
In 1930, Tommy Angelo, who had only joined the Salieri family as an associate a few days prior, was assigned to drive caporegime Sam Trapani and enforcer Paulie Lombardo to the motel, as Bill was late in paying his protection dues and the family needed to finish making its monthly collections. Upon arriving, Sam and Paulie were ambushed by a waiting crew of Morello soldiers, who shot Paulie and tied up Sam while they beat him for information about the vandalization of their cars. Tommy was forced to break in alone and rescue Sam, then killed the fleeing crew boss before he could escape with the family's collections bag.
