Captain Pennies

Captain Pennies is a minor character in Mafia III and Mafia: Definitive Edition.

History[]

Captain Pennies was a man known for patronizing prostitutes whilst dressing like a clown in whiteface makeup and a red wig. Along with "Brother Superior" and "Neighbor Phil", he was one of the three "kinky VIPs"; johns of Harry Robicheaux who were three of his biggest spenders.^[1] Not much is known about his early life, but by 1968, he is the president of a savings and loan who has been defrauding blacks and Irish people out of their life savings through phony investment schemes in order to finance his patronization of prostitutes.^[2]

While his appearance in Mafia: Definitive Edition is likely meant as an Easter egg, it is perfectly feasible for Captain Pennies to have been in both games. He appears significantly younger in Mafia: DE, and there is only a 36 year span between his appearances.
