"Then let's see what you got, cake-eater."
Billy Ghillotti

William "Billy" Ghillotti is a minor antagonist in Mafia: Definitive Edition.

History[]

Billy is the leader of a gang of hoodlums and the son of city councilor Roberto Ghillotti.

Billy, along with his best friend Johnny and some of their other friends who make up their gang, approach Sarah and Tommy as the latter was walking her home, as a favor for Luigi Marino, due to them making inappropriate sexual advances towards her. Tommy manages to beat them all up, including Billy, and fend them off for the time being.

The following morning, Tommy, along with Paulie, go to confront him and Johnny before they quickly take off, which soon leads to a car chase. Unfortunately, they crash their car into a wall where Paulie soon shoots and kills Billy, while Johnny manages to survive. Johnny is shot and killed by Sam Trapani one week later at Billy's funeral at St. Michael's Church.

Billy's father, Roberto, becomes furious after his son's death in a gangland shooting, and swears revenge on the Salieri Crime Family for their role in his son's murder. Don Salieri learns of Roberto Ghillotti's plans to strike back at his crime family, and that he is assisting the Morello Crime Family to do so. In response, Salieri orders Tommy Angelo to kill Roberto during a speech aboard his steamboat in 1935 on his 50th birthday, during the events of Happy Birthday.
