Alberto "Berto" Grossano is a character mentioned in Mafia II.
History[]
He was a veteran of the Italian 17th Infantry Division who participated in the push into North Africa during World War II. He was a member of the Falcone Crime Family and was often the regular chauffeur for Don Carlo Falcone.
He and Mickey Pietra were killed by Frankie Potts in a popular Empire Diner after they caught Potts planting a bomb under Falcone's car. Frankie went on to pin the blame on Berto to appear to be the hero.
